The Sherwood Forest is located on the edge of the school campus. Not typically visited, the first several hundred yards are called the "safe zone". However, if someone goes any farther inside, then trouble will greet them. This forest is filled with legends, history, and danger. Creatures roam through this forest without a care and are all willing to kill if it sees a threat. Students are cautioned not to enter, except for study.

Try your turn at flying, practice your quidditch skills, or come and watch or participate in the exciting Quidditch Matches!

The Dragonology Pits are located close to the Groundskeeper's Cottage. The Dragonology Club takes place here, where students enter these large dirt pits to learn about dragons. The pits are there to keep dragons from escaping, under a spell that won't allow them to fly, but they are still capable of roaming and running away.

The beautiful greenery in the greenhouses will either amaze you, or try to attack you. Watch out, some of these plants are watching you. Some herbology classes may take place here, but students are always welcome to visit it.

Walk through the beautiful gardens with a large variety of plants. Follow the paths set out and relax in the warm environment.

The Dueling Stage is used for members of the Dueling Club, hosted by Colette Bellview. The Dueling Stage, located in the middle of what appears to be "nowhere", is incredibly large and several feet high. The Dueling Stage will be used for just that: dueling.

The Bridge, which appears to be quite a romantic spot for couples, looks upon the sparkling river below. The Bridge is also famous for the entrance and exit out of the safety of the University of Hogwarts, to get into the city of London.

The Hogwarts University local swimming pool, this pool is opened all hours (although students are insisted on not breaking any after-school hour rules). Close to the pool are beach chairs and a small snack bar. Included is a diving board, water slide, some game equipment, and other recreational, some magical, activities.
